From Project Manager to Ocean Lover
Hello there, I’m Giorgia
Kitesurf instructor, wingfoil coach, trip organizer, ocean addict.
I wasn’t born on the beach – I was born in Italy, and for over 10 years I worked as a Digital Project Manager in big international companies like Philips and Orangina Schweppes. I managed projects, budgets, and teams across countries. Life looked “successful” on paper… but inside, I felt something was missing.
Every time I was by the ocean, I felt alive. The energy of the wind, the thrill of riding, the freedom of salt water on my skin – that was real life. One day, I decided to follow that call. I swapped the office for the ocean, the corporate world for waves and wind. And I never looked back.
The Shift – Turning Passion Into Profession
When I first became an instructor, I thought it was just about teaching people to ride. But I quickly learned it was much more:
Helping beginners overcome fear of the kite.
Celebrating first waterstarts like Olympic gold.
Creating a community that shares not just a sport, but a lifestyle.
Today I’m:
IKO Assistant Trainer – helping riders become instructors.
Coach – for beginners and intermediates – from first rides to strapless surf.
Trip organizer – guiding riders around the world to the best spots.
